His Story

Dr. Chris is not your typical dentist. Behind his confident demeanor and gentle touch lies a remarkable journey of overcoming fear and turning adversity into strength. His childhood was marked by a deep-seated fear of the dentist—a fear that would ultimately shape his future in ways he never imagined.

As a young boy, Dr. Chris’ anxiety surrounding dental visits was palpable. Throughout his childhood, he was always diagnosed with new cavities and would get frequent injections for fillings and extractions. He knew firsthand the fear and anxiousness that entails with seeing the dentist.

Despite his apprehension, Dr. Chris’ curiosity about the world around him remained insatiable. He was drawn to science and medicine, fascinated by the intricate workings of the human body. Little did he know that his fear of the dentist would propel him toward a career in dentistry.

It was during his undergrad years that Dr Chris’ perspective began to shift. He decided to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene at the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in Boston, MA to obtain a better understanding of the dental field. During his time as a dental hygienist, he began to have a deep rooted understanding of connecting with patients and putting them at ease. This experience planted the seed of inspiration within him, igniting a desire to pursue a career where he could provide the same level of care and comfort to others.

With newfound determination, Dr. Chris set out on a path to become a dentist. He attended Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. He poured himself into his studies, excelling academically and honing his skills with unwavering dedication and graduated with Honors and Cum Laude in 2017.

After years of rigorous training and hard work, Dr. Chris Dinh emerged as a beacon of hope for those who, like him, harbored fears of the dentist's chair. Armed with compassion, empathy, and a deep understanding of the impact of dental anxiety, he dedicated himself to creating a safe and welcoming environment for his patients, where fear could be replaced with trust and comfort.
